About the Association
Our Mission
To accelerate the development and responsible deployment of humanoid robotics through collaboration, education, and open research. We believe that humanoid robots will transform industries, improve lives, and expand human capabilities.
Our Vision
A world where humanoid robots work alongside humans, enhancing productivity, safety, and quality of life across all sectors of society.
Our Story
Founded in 2020, the Humanoid Robotics Association started as a small group of university researchers who shared a passion for bipedal locomotion and human-robot interaction. Today, we are a growing international community with members from academia, industry, and government, united by our commitment to advancing humanoid robotics.
ICHR was founded at CIIRC CTU with the support of the institute's leadership. Dr. Ondřej Velek and prof. Vladimír Mařík provided the institutional and expert backing that enabled the centre's establishment and its anchoring at CIIRC.
Our Values
Open Research
We believe in open science and freely sharing knowledge to accelerate progress.
Collaboration
